Through its ongoing consulting partnership with Austin FC, Okapi Environmental Services (OES) has supported the development and implementation of waste diversion strategies at Q2 Stadium. The partnership was recognized at the 2026 Texas Environmental Excellence Awards, where Austin FC was honored for its innovative approach to waste management and resource recovery.

Okapi Environmental Services provides ongoing consulting to help advance the stadium’s waste diversion and resource management goals.

Through this long-term partnership, Okapi has helped Austin FC develop and implement strategies to improve waste management operations at Q2 Stadium. These efforts contributed to Austin FC’s achievement of TRUE Platinum certification, making Q2 Stadium the first soccer-specific stadium in the world to achieve TRUE certification.
